I was just wondering if you guys knew if iMacs were typically announced during WWDC or are they simply released without a formal announcment -- note I'm not asking when the new iMacs are coming out, just simply whether they've been associated with WWDC every cycle

WWDC is used sometimes to release new Macs or updates to them, but not every time.

If you look here (http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/) though, it might be likely.

Yeah the buyer guide is what got me to wait a bit, a month isn't too long of a wait you know?

Thanks for the info!

There could be a slight bump in the CPU updates for WWDC but I believe they will most likely introduce new updated Mac Pros.

Maybe... Or maybe not

When it's up to , only Steve knows what's happening, even God is not aware of it :p

It's POSSIBLE, but iMacs could get a silent update as I'm sure WWDC will be about iPhone and iPhone OS 4.0
