Sennheiser HD497's

I am going to order these for my iPod and laptop for DVD's. But before I do , I had one question. For anyone that has a decent set of headphones, do they tend to make 128K mp3's sound like junk? Most of mine are 128K, and I am worried about this. Anyone have experience? Thanks.

The better your headphones are, the worse the MP3 will sound. But then again, some people can't tell if they're listening to 64k MP3 or CD.
