Hi, guys

I am going to buy a wacom intuos tablet from ebay to do some serious CG paintings in my powerbook. Here are some questions I want to ask:

1. Is a 4X5" tablet enough to do painting?? Or should I get the 6X8 one?
2. Any differences between the intuos2 Platinum and the original intuos2?
3. Would you recommand me to get the newest intuos3 or just get the
intuos2 tablet?
4. Give me some advices and Tips for bidding things in Ebay, pls~!!

Thanks!!

4x5 is not enough, the tablet ends before you've done a line on it.
Another thing I suggest is to see if you qualify for student discounts (or any of your relatives for that matter) at academicsuperstore.com. I just bought a 6x8 wacom for $80 less than at a regular store and it's new! my old graphire 4x5 doesn't compare..

i bought the 6x8.. i definitely think its worth it. its about perfect. I have never felt cramped whereas with the 4x5 you have to make pretty small strokes and it seems very limited
