Hey all, not sure if this is the right place to ask this, though.

I'm looking for a program for mac that can split long mp3 files and track them.

I know I can do this in pretty much any audio software (ie garage band, etc), but I don't want to have garageband convert it to AIFF just to have me reconvert it back to MP3.

I have a few live concerts that were recorded as one long mp3 file and would like to track them, but not degrade the quality anymore than it has to be.

I'm aware of MP3 Trimmer, but that doesn't do what I want. It's too much of a hassle to cut to an exact time code for each track to flow one after another.

Thanks!

Audacity. Its free. You will need to install LAME encoder in order to save to MP3 though.

Audacity rocks:)
