Hi, I've noticed recently that when my imac is sleeping it's HDD spins up, crunches a bit like it does and then power down again. The screen and everything else is off, just the HDD comes on. Does anyone know what this could be? It's happened a couple of times in the last week. It's the Seagate drive BTW. Thanks.:)

Have you checked "Put HDs to sleep" from System Preferences -> Energy Saving?

Had a similar prob, I unchecked Wake for network access and it stays asleep.
