So I take it this means you caved, and are getting an iMac G5 instead? :D
I did exactly the same thing, by the way, I sold my PowerBook, since I wasn't using the portability, and bought an iMac G5. I'm very happy with my decision, and I'm sure you will be too.
Good luck on your sale! :)

Most likely it is a scam. They will probably want to send you cashier's check (which will end up being fake). Another game they play is that the offer to send you more than the computer is worth, and then you send them the computer and change. Then when the check bounces, you are out the computer and the money. If you post the email they sent you, we can help you more.
Also, you should post the ebay link here so MacRumors (UK) people can bid.

Hi. Did you BTO the hard drive or graphics card?
(Might be interested - in theory waiting for 17" with speed bump in a month or so, but you never know...)

lol you will be waiting for that for a while bud ;)
they wont (imho) be updated for a while yet... but who knows...
anyway no i didnt upgrade the graphics as it doesnt give much of a boost as you would think it would (see barefeets) and i brought from john lewis so i could get the 2 year warranty...
its a flyer and in great condition... but the girlfriend has brought an ibook so i can use that if i need it for portability but i fancy the new imac...but i hate the chin on it...

I'm in the one last squeeze out of the G4 this year before G5/dual core next year camp.
Ok, so no upgraded graphics. Presumably that is the same for the faster HD?
I've got all kinds of cases and mice so wouldn't want those. Would you be prepared to discuss a price that did not include those?
