Hi

My G tech g drive q 1tb recently died on me and i got a g raid 2 tb as a replacement i want to get an eSata card for it. I have ordered the Newertech MAXPower one for my Mac Pro 09

will this work with the g raid?

i know as i have said my last g tech drive failed and i had this one as a replacement on my warranty but i need to know if the esata crad i have ordered will work with the G Raid

Why are you worried? You said you've already ordered the card, so simply give it a shot!

But honestly, I don't see any reason why it should not work.

It wouldn't work if it's used with a unit that has a PM chip, such as the Oxfords used in the 2 or 4 disk versions, as Newer Tech does state it's not compatible with Port Multipliers.

For the single disk models, it would work.
