How to get Sound from External Speakers & Through Apple Cinema Display

Hey guys,

Is it possible to sound from my MacBook Pro through it's external speakers via the 3.5 jack and through the Apple 24" Cinema LED Display?

If not, no worries! Just curious 🙂
