Hi

This is probably a stupid question (from a newbie switcher :)), but if a Mac is attached to a network through a router, and it's currently in sleep mode, is it still possible to access any shared files on it? Would any network access to it wake it up, or would this be something that could be set up?

Thanks

M

Sweet tool, thanks!

It appears that it uses the Wake-on-LAN packet to wake the target computer - so I am assuming that in the Energy Saver preferences you have to select "Wake for Ethernet network administrator access"?
