My problem: I would like to animate hundreds of pictures flying into a video screen. I would like the option to have them all be on the screen simultaneously if possible. Essentially I want to have them all fly in creating a mosaic ala the "truman show" poster

What I cant figure out is 1) what program to use for this (motion? final cut? other?) And how to do it, that is, it is unreasonable to have hundreds of tracks, how can I accomplish this? anyone?
