No embarassing tracks. I put what people would consider embarassings songs on my iPod for a reason....I simply like them.

Radiohead, while not mainstream, is popular. You're not a rebel. =)
while the popularity of radiohead is debatable, I never claimed to be a rebel. then again, I wasn't talking about my politics...

Oh, I just like prodding people. I love Radiohead too. :)

And I think they've been considered popular since OK Computer. 300,000 copies of a new album (Hail to the Thief) in the first week are not quite indie numbers.

no, not indie numbers at all. still, if you've ever been to a Radiohead show, you can see that they don't have the production and glitz of a concert of a "big" bands like U2 (and don't get me wrong, I love U2 concerts).

I guess I meant 'popular' more in the sense of 'not obscure' than 'Popular', if you get my gist.

And I'd love to go to a Radiohead show but they tend to sell out in about 30 seconds.

I have a Various Artists CD titled, "Pull My Finger". 99 sounds of flatulence. I got it from the iTunes music store but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. That was back in the day when they were giving away iPods every X number of songs... I figured 99 tracks for $9.99 would maximize my chances of winning if I tried to do it near the right time... I didn't win... :(

But I have some fun sounds that come up when I play my library on random... :o

My most embarassing ones would probably be the few Hawthorne Heights songs I have.

I don't listen to them, I refuse to listen to that emo crap, but they're on either soundtracks or other compilations that I have, and I'm anal about having full albums whenever possible, so they're there.

I also have Local H's (think it's them?) cover of Britney Spear's song Toxic. So I have a Britney Spears song, it's just not sung by Britney.

anyone over the age of 10 should be ashamed to own a M. Manson album

Just because a band or artist is not to ones taste doesn't make it immature..

Anyway... I've had a few embaressing songs in my playlists over the years, but the most out of place songs on my hdd are

Macho Man, Y.M.C.A and In The Navy all by The Village People

Makes an interesting change from my hard/progressive/alternative rock and metal collection

And somehow, every time someone says I have bad taste (no one outside my family ever said that), my little brother brings up Jay-Z and says I have every album they (that's right, he is that stupid) ever made.
Actually, I don't even have one song by Jay-Z.

"It's Raining Men" by 'The Weather Girls'

It was the first paid for download from iTMS :o

In my defense I only got it to make an annoying ringtone to embarrass a work colleague.
I edited it to just the chorus and secretly loaded it to his ringtone assigned to my number whenever I called.
I knew he wouldn't be able to change it back without the instructions and would ring him without reason when he was in meetings :D

79p well spent.

Awesomely evil!
