Time machine doesn't seem to care about the fact that the notebook is running on battery power. I keeps on performing backups. I've tried restarting, enabling and disabling Time Machine....nothing seems to work...

Isn't time machine supposed to delay backups when the laptop is on battery power..?

Why don't you decrease the backup interval with Time Machine Helper or turn off your backup drive altogether?

Nevermind, I had accidentally turned the option that enables backup while on battery.

BTW, I have tweaked the duration using TimeMachineEditor, but I do not want to stop backing up... no no... not again... have been burnt by that before... 😛
