Neural Networks

Could this be Jan 7's "big" thing? A little browsing of the /research/ folder of ftp.apple.com shows some work that appears to be neural-network related. Most of it was created June 2000. There's also a recently created /research/handwriting/ folder... Return of Newton? New handwriting-recognition input device?

Although some of this is new, a lot of it was old (newton-era) stuff heaped into a new folder. Sorry if I got you TOO excited.

BTW, Woz was holding a gold "Pokemon edition" Game Boy color.
