Use iFile from Cydia.

Scroll to the end of the info.plist file and about </dict> put the code in. Works for me.

After you're done editing the .plist are you hitting 'save' in the top right corner?

Remember to put it as the last code above </dict>. If I didn't do this it didn't work.

The code is:

<key>UIDeviceFamily</key>
<array>
<integer>1</integer>
<integer>2</integer>
</array>

If there is already:

<key>UIDeviceFamily</key>
<array>
<integer>1</integer>
</array>

Just add: <integer>2</integer>

So what does this do different then pressing the 2X button? Is there an advantage?

It coverts iPhone apps to native res iPad apps. It doesn't work for all iPhone apps though.

Check the link for screenshots:

Wondering why some do not work. Street Fighter IV for example. It scales the fighting display, but the controls and status are stuck in a 'window' in the upper right. Is it possible some games might need this in more then one place, or is it that it these parts of the graphics are just low resolution and will not increase in size?

I was skimming the thread and noticed some other discussion about the touchscreen portion still being iPhone-sized, so I guess this isn't ready for primetime.

Does anyone know how to get to your Cydia applications? I've done it to a few I have from my itunes apps, but I can not find my Cydia apps. For example. I have Catergories, It works well enough in it's current form, but I want to try adding the code to see if it improves it. I can not find it under applications. Any ideas?

Some programs use identifiers to dictate items on the screen real estate. Those that don't have no issue with this "fix."

You can modify the files individually but explaining how is way too time-consuming to attempt, IMO. If you understand how to do it though (takes time to get right) then you can have a fully functional iPad app, as long as artwork isn't used that is sized a certain way.

Why don't you use the free Cydia app Full Force to make iphone apps full screen? Doesn't work for all games.
