Berlin, Germany - May 5, 2010. Mark Hessburg, an independent iPhone developer, is pleased to announce that Newton's Dice 3D is now available in the iTunes AppStore. Quite simply Newton’s Dice 3D represents the most advanced 3D dice game for iPhone & iPod touch(TM).

Unlike other dice apps, Newton's Dice 3D uses stunning fast camera tracking shots and strikingly realistic sounds, thereby creating a totally immersive dice game in an amazingly realistic gambling den environment.

IPhoneItalia says: "Newton's Dice 3D is a 3D dice game for the iPhone with excellent 3D graphics. Besides awesome graphics, the developers have paid great attention to the audio, all sounds and effects are absolutely realistic. This makes Newton's Dice 3D a rewarding game experience for all lovers of dice games..."

Unique characteristics:

- Unequaled in class graphics with light & shadows, high resolution textures and rich details.
- Dynamic camera tracking brings the action to life within a fully modelled 3D gambling den.
- Realistic game physics utilizing the powerful NVIDIA PhysiX(TM) engine.

The games included in Newton's Dice 3D are 10,000 (Farkle) and Shut the Box. Both can be described as among the best mobile realizations of these dice classics. The free dice mode allows to use up to 6 dice. You may lay dice aside, making it possible to play any dice game with Newton's Dice 3D.

Newton's Dice 3D supports enhanced graphics for the 3GS and the 3rd generation iPod Touch(TM). The user*interface is available in 5 languages (english, french, german, spanish and italian). A HD version for the iPad is currently in development.

The game got a customer review today that was so great that I like to share this, it's unbelivable that some customer really take the time to write good and objective reviews:

Simply Fantastic (5 Stars)
by Kevin Agot

The beauty of a game like "Newton's Dice 3D" is a unique combination of game-play at it's simplest, "Lady Luck" at her shredewst and production values at their highest. What is more simpler than to roll dice? Ah, but on the iPhone/iTouch, this could be a rather daunting task given the number of dices games over the years that have miserably failed at capturing the spatial and physical dynamics inherent with the roll of a die. Thankfully, Newton's Dice 3D breaks new ground in the dice-play genre by producing an environment with beatifully rendered graphics, smooth animation, vibrant-crisp audio and flat-out fun game-play. The screenshots alone don't fully capture the acute attention to detail in the artwork. The audible cues are perfect from the sharply-wooden dice clashing against each other in the hollow of a cup, to the muted sounds of a die gently falling and softly rolling onto a velvety carpet. Additionally, one of the highlights of the game are the unique camera angles that pan horizontally and vertically to accentuate a sense of motion that is both constant and fluid rather than sticky and pedestrian. Some of the camera angles caught as the "camera" ranges across the board are reminiscent of a game-cam following action during a Monday Night Football game.

I'm glad that the developer dedicated so much time and effort to making sure that all the pieces were in balance before releasing this app to the public. They say that "the devil is in the details" but there is nothing to worry about as this is a well-thought out sophisticated app that will entertain people of all ages for years to come. I look forward to more dice-related games being added to future builds!
