Hey, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but i needed to start up in os 9, and after I changed my startup disk to 9, and restarted, the computer started up to the smiling Mac, but didn't go any further. My question is, is there a way to get back into Os X upon start up, like using the keyboard or something? Please Help!!

Try holding down the X key while rebooting the computer. It may force your computer to start up in OS X. Another option if that doesn't work, would be to start up from a bootable CD (like your system restore disks) holding the C key at bootup. Then it should have a startup disk option where you can change to OS X.

yeah I tried the X key thing, but that didn't work, and I was wondering about the CD thing. Thanks A lot! I'll try this weekend, because the disks are at work.
