Hi folks!

I'm an avid WoW player and my guild uses Mumble for voice communication. Unfortunately, Mumble's overlay which displays who is speaking does not work in OSX without additional steps being taken.

From their website:

If you are on Mac, then you need to start your game with the mumble-overlay command. For example:

/Applications/Mumble.app/Contents/Overlay/mumble-overlay /Applications/World\ of\ Warcraft/World\ of\ Warcraft.app

Could someone please explain to me, step-by-step, how to do this? I've never tried anything like it before and honestly have no idea what to do.

Many thanks in advance for any expert advice that follows!

Overlay's Fixed in 1.2.3

Mumble overlays in 1.2.2 did not work well in Mac, plus there was an incompatibility issue with nVidia which most macs use for their graphics cards.

Overlays are fixed in version 1.2.3. You can download the developer snapshot on this from the Mumble Sourceforge page.

It worked for me.
