i cant access my hotmail or gmail or yahoo mail from my wireless connection.there is no restriction to them on my network and ive treid safari,ie,mozilla,firefox...why?

Sounds like you might have a DNS problem.

Can you get to http://www.apple.com ?

Then your problem is DNS.

Then you probably don't have an IP address from the WiFI router. In that case be more forth coming with your info. Is it your wifi router? What brand is it? What version of the Mac OS are you running? Are you using DHCP? Are you using WEP? Who set up this wifi connection for you? Etc, etc..

Is this a home network, school network, _work_ network?

If you are at work, then your employer may be blocking those sites.
