I have been trying to add my gmail account to my touch and am encountering an issue. I had it added once before but deleted and now I can't seem to be able to re-add. I have tried selecting the gmail preset in the mail app and also using google's instructions going through the "other" option. Both are not allowing me to acutally add the account. It says it is having some issue with the imap. Any ideas how to remedy this?

Have you gone to the Gmail website -> Settings, Forwarding and POP/IMAP and made sure IMAP is enabled? If you had it set up before the only thing that could prevent you from setting it up again is that or the WiFi connection you're using.
