I sold my iphone and im about to buy another one.

im curious...any apps that offer free texT?

textnow does it pretty well. Hook it up with google voice and it's just like having unlimited.

yea. i dont wanna pay 20 dollars for unlimited text.

can people text my number and i have it forwarded to google?

Look at the top 50 apps on the iPhone. TextNow by Enflick

I've had it since day 1 and it's by far the best texting app in the store. Why anyone would give AT&T $20/month on top of $30 data plan beats me.

I've never had any server issues or problems with messages being sent. Works perfect every time.

Text free unlimited works perfect and now they even give u another number with an area code by where u live so they can txt a number instead of a weird number sequence😀😉

Your best bet is to try using Google Voice. It take a little getting used to, but it works well.

You'll need to convince your contacts to text your alternative rather than your real phone number. I was never able to convince my friends to text my GV number.
