May sound odd, but for some computer work I would like to buy a PowerBook or iBook that is damaged but still in a semi-operable condition.
Basically, I want a laptop that has been damaged to the point where it would still run but you would need an external monitor, AC power source, maybe replace the harddrive, etc. Rather hard to describe... Post and I will tell you yes or no. Something in the $0-$200 dollar range.
It must be G4 based! A Luggable won't cut it. ;) But something like a 867Mhz TiBook that has been dropped down the stairs might...
I live in Southern CA, but shipping for a laptop shouldn't be too bad. I hope...
