It's about time for another 'pointless' thread  - if people can get away with stuff like 'what's in your wallet?' and 'how do you wear your watch?' then I can probably get away with this :p

What was the last thing you bought? Not necessarily last Mac/computer purchase, but just the last item you bought. Consumables (such as food) are excepted.

In my case, I bought a new belt today because my previous one's almost dead. If you must know, it's this one (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/districtskatesurf/inbeannywebb.html), but in blue.

A house, thats right, I spent $850,000 on a house. $850K is cheap for my area, and the house is a 'bit of a fixer upper' or, in a bad way, but not far from decent. We settle on December 8, so debts-vill here I come!

In another thread, I apparently bought Apple for $48bn dollars. :p

Otherwise, my last purchase was dinner during a friend's b-day.

With the current gas prices, it's hard to say which one's cheaper

I think if you don't count my $220 grocery purchase yesterday afternoon my most recent buy was The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=20917648) from the ITMS. Great to see this fantastic double album finally released on iTunes!

Well... not counting food for snacking this morning... the latest thing I bought was... this:

4.8V 1500mAh NIMH - Assembled Nicd/nimh Pack (http://www.ibsa.com/estore/view_product_detail.asp?part_number=NIC0720&mscssid=NRRNG0KLBUN49NXMX12L8FDCDK0V9NF9&js=1)

Aside from prescription drugs for my back (which, as consumables, don't count), the last thing I bought was VPC7/XP. However, since I'm pretty sure I'm taking it back (it's unopened, and the reviews have not been all that great), the last thing I got was a nail gun combo from Home Depot (air tank and two guns) along with plywood and windows (I'm enclosing my screened-in porch). My overactive nailing and window installation led to the need for the first item I mentioned....

Having just received my cc bill I can tell you that in the last month I've purchased:

- an IWC Portuguese watch

http://www.iwc.ch/collection/_img/2_0_portuguese/3714_011_l.jpg

- a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp mountain bike

http://www.cyclesurgery.com/productimages/fullsize/STUMPJUMPER%20FSR%20COMP%20BLUE%2004.jpg

- a dual 2.5 GHz G5 with 6800 card and 23" monitor (I'm guessing you all know what they look like... :D).

They're the 'big' purchases, others such as an iSight for my sister, Airtunes base station and a couple of things for my car have meant it's been an expensive month

Must try harder at saving! :D
