Hi guys,
I just upgraded to a 1.25GHz Aluminum Powerbook and I am going to sell my 1GHz G4 Titanium. It is the DVI - Gigabit Ethernet model. (The last Ti's made before the Aluminum ones released) 512Mb RAM, Superdrive DVD+-RW, Airport 802.11b, (which after all the hooplah over 802.11g, I still seem to get better reception and range with my Ti than with any of the Aluminum PBs in our house running "g".)
Um, let's see. 60G hard drive, Radeon 9000 Mobile w/64Mb Ram. New battery and a new keyboard from Apple. (a key came loose so they sent me a new one) an optical mouse, and a padded slipcover-case bag. Oh- Applecare 3yr Extended warranty still has about 2 years left on it.
Let me know if there's anything else you want to know. PM me or email me at my posted email, or design4@byu.edu.
I was going to offer it on Ebay for 1625 Buy it Now, but I wanted to offer it here first. Should we say, 1460?

Do you have any references (such as eBay feedback)?
What forms of payment will you accept?
Is shipping included in your price? If not, how much will it be?
This sounds like a great deal by the way. $1460 is an excellent price for this PowerBook.

I have never used eBay unfortunately. I wish I had, so I could use it as a resource for verifying my identity or feedback or whatever. I do have a verified Paypal account that I activated a long time ago, and have used for online purchases, software, and some other retail stores on the net. (I can verify my integrity some way, and would expect the same from anyone I would buy or sell from.)
Shipping is not included in the price, but from what I've gathered, it shouldn't be more than $18-25. I am pretty much willing to ship whichever way the buyer would like. I like to save money on shipping and I know others do as well.
For payment, I think I am going to stick with Paypal. From what I gather, it's the easiest, and seems to be the safest way to transact.
You can phone me if you'd like details.
I also have pictures if you'd like me to email you them.

Hello, I may be interested, have to get my dad to look at this first though. Please don't put that wonderful PB up on eBay just yet!

Thanks a ton to all of you who have contacted me about the Laptop. I really have appreciated all your interest and questions. I believe we have things about wrapped up with a buyer, so I will post as Sold when everything closes on the Laptop.
Again, thanks to everyone for feedback, etc. I have never used the Rumors Forum, but I have been incredibly impressed since joining. I think you've made a convert, and I'll be here to stay.
Also, I posted an sealed 15Gb iPod shortly after posting my laptop. I haven't had time to actively contact with selling it. But it's still available if anyone is interested. (Also, if you have a Griffin PowerMate or some SODIMM 200pin 2700 DDR Ram for an Aluminum Powerbook, in 512Mb or 1Ghz chip, I'd be really willing to part trade for the iPod)
Thanks again everyone!!!

When your sale is complete, would you mind posting the final selling price? It makes an excellent reference for other sellers looking to price their computers.

No prob. I'll also include the reasons for selling at the final price as well, to give other sellers more applicable-relative referance as well.
Good suggestion Elan-

Okay, Thanks again to everyone for your help. The Titanium is sold. I sold it for $1500 for the setup, as it had a small mark on the bottom corner of the screen. I sent it into Apple just before selling it to freshen it up. They put a new bottom and top case on it as well as a new trackpad for some reason. Hope that gives some of you a reference for pricing. The specs for the notebook are at the top of the post.
Again, thanks all and thanks Matt!! He is a super buyer, and it was a pleasure working with him. Immediate response, and the transfer went very smoothly.

And thank you James. You were an excellent seller. Provided pictures and detailed information about the Powerbook. Pointed out every possible scratch so I went into the purchase completely informed. In case James has things to sell in the future - I highly recommend him!
