How to import a book on CD for iPod

I purchased a book on CD. I imported the first disk and it just shows up as tracks. No names, etc. Is there a way I can import it that it will be ready for me to sync to my iPod?

Do they go in order? If so you can put them on your iPod as-is.

I tried making a playlist with the title of the book and transfer them to that and they would not move. That's really not the way I want to have it on my iPod or in my playlist.

Are you sure you weren't trying to drag them from the disc's window instead of from your "Library" window?

No, it was from the library after I had imported the CD.

after you have ripped them you can right click to get info and under options change the type to 'audiobook' but you will have name them yourself, but you can at least highlight them all and just change the title in one go

No idea what the problem is, then. I don't think I've ever been unable to drag a track from the library into a Playlist.
