Leopard to Snow Leopard Time Machine Question ?

Hi,
I have a extra hard drive for time machine on leopard (backups.backupdb)
now I install a clean install of snow leopard, so I want start backup again with the same extra hard drive... so the window say "BROWSE OTHER TIME MACHINE DISKS" so if I select they continue backup in from now and what about the backups of leopard?

or I delete backups.backupdb and start a new one?
