This is an OEM installed Apple memory module specified to work with all models of the iMac G5. If you have an existing 512MB Apple module installed in your iMac this should* pair with it and enable 128-bit (dual channel) memory support.
It has passed all tests (both quick and full) on the Apple Hardware Test CD. It has been running my system non-stop since Thursday, September 30th (no sleep, lots of memory activity). I am going to be installing two 1GB DIMMS so that I can work with some video applications more liberally.
I'll sell this for $89 + $10 shipping. The first person to PM me to arrange a Paypal transaction can have it. I don't want to run an auction or anything, just first come first served. I'll only accept Paypal. The module will be shipped in the static bag and container provided with my Crucial shipment that should be arriving tomorrow. This will ensure that your memory will be well protected during transport.
*I say 'should' only to cover my butt for liability. There have been weird reports of people having success and others not with identical configurations. I make no assurances that this will work for you, but I honestly don't see why not.
