I need help immediately. Started up last night, everything seemed fine. Got the desktop up, and then it zooms in on the cursor. I can move the cursor, but obviously I really can't do anything since the image it so large. the size of the cursor is about the size of the mouse. I've tried to reboot, restart, shut down and unplugged but I always get the same thing. It appears that a setting has somehow been changed to "extreme zoom".

I have a G4 iMac, about 5 years old. No issues until this. Please help asap.

thanks,

wookie

Have you looked in the System Prefs at Universal Access? You may have zoomed in on your screen accidentally.

Hi Wookie,
you must have had hit a Zoom control in Universal Access Panel by accident, like Ignatius says. It is for users with vision problems.

press control and use the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in/out

Yep, that's what it was. One of the kids accidentally changed it and didn't fess up.

Thanks for the help.
