I have my PS3 setup with a projector that is on the ceiling (yup, its sweet), but I would like to view through the PS3 my macbook's screen so I can work with pdfs and powerpoint presentations on the big screen. Is there any way to get to do this? I really don't mind about lag because I will not be using it for gaming or videos.. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Your projector should have a VGA input. Can you run an additional cable and cut the PS3 out completely?

It is not easy but I guess I could. I was just wondering if there is some way of using the PS3 to avoid that cable and have a wireless connection.

Not to my knowledge. You can stream media from the PS3, but to my knowledge, especially with the elimination of Linux, you can't do remote-desktop stuff with the PS3.
