Hello all,

I'm trying to install windows via BootCamp on my MacBook Air. I've got a windows partition created, but I'm having issues getting the Windows Installer to run. I have a USB LG Slim DVD reader/writer that I'm trying to use. Bootcamp on it's own won't boot from the drive. It will recognize it, but when the computer restarts to load the Windows installer it hangs and flashes the apple logo alternating with the "Prohibited" sign and a folder with a ? on it.

I tried installing rEFIt, but it won't boot from the LG drive either. It says something about an issue loading the Legacy OS from the specified volume. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get windows installed without having to go buy an Apple Superdrive?
