Roll out of Macs

I have a bundle of Quad Core Macs that need to be made up to the same spec with apps etc. How would one go about doing this quickly, i.e can it be done from an image of a hard drive (clone) and then add the individual app serial numbers after. Got a lot of impatient people wanting their new toys so the quicker i can get them out the better.

Bingo. Simply clone the drives after you have one set up the way you want

http://www.bombich.com/ - Carbon Copy Cloner is the most commonly used software to do this.

Disk Utility can be used for this.

Just insert the drives into the same machine and clone them.
