Uh oh, this sort of incident must have happened more than once. And then he denies it. How precious.

My mom had one back in the late 80's, when they still sold them over here, and it was very reliable. I guess quality has gone down, or she got lucky.

hm depends

in the late 80ties early 90ties they had more problem than before especially renault but in the last few years they are yet again better than ever before (they are already beating VW )

but of course it depends o ncar & manufacturer

citroen is a fine example we had a BX diesel (with 55 or 65 PS) and it was completly error free over 10 years..that car was awesome...
our renault espace has/had more errors ;) (1989)...heck our mercedes had more errors ...my dad said already that the next car will be a citroen again

I think hers may have been an early 80's model, because she had it for nearly ten years and then sold it in the early 90's.

Hey, I got one, I'm neither French nor living in France, and it's a way cooooooool car. And it's black. And beautiful. :p And economic.

Anyway, the car was invented in my city of residence, hehe.
