MaxUpgrades just announced a kit that puts two SSDs inside the iMac and puts the SuperDrive in an external enclosure:

I just came in this forum to look at doing exactly this. Take the dvd out, put a ssd in it's place and turn the regular hdd into a slave. Double sided tape to get the ssd to stay in the spot the dvd drive was. Then hack my macbook air drive.
What happened to that thread one of the guys on here with a 27" had that he showed how to do this? Any reason it wouldn't be the same on a 24"?
