im very good at iphones and ipods. yet today when i picked up my ipod it had a white screen. neither a hard reset or restore fixed it. tho when taking a screen cap i can see everything fine till the screen cap is finished. so it has to be soft right? tho a restore didnt work?! any ideas? also i called :apple: and the guy said he had no idea and i should get a replacement. tho they say that about everything.

So, wait... It's in the iPhone OS?

If it's in DFU mode, you can try to restore using redsn0w or another app.

Maybe a broken LCD, or faulty cable. If it still is under apple care, the apple store will replace it for you.

like i said before when i hold home+power the screen cap goes off and i can see the screen fine till i let go.
