I use the Jokerman font for a newsletter I do weekly and find that the new Appleworks with my G5 Imac doesn't have it.
How can I get it? I don't want 2 versions on my mac do I?

Do you still have your old Mac? It's probably in the Classic OS, System Folder:Fonts:Jokerman LET Fonts
I'd copy that onto something, put it on my new Mac and then open it with Font Book to enable it. There should be a Library:Fonts under your home directory, that (or the systemwide one) would be the place to drag it.

Well I transferred it. Copied it into the font book in OS X. Then re read your text and put it in the classic font book in OS 9. Now it appears in the Appleworks font directory but the only thing is, it's not jokerman.
Its a very streamlined font. Jokerman (and it appears correctly in the font book) is kind of a crazy artsy font.
What do I do?????

It's like the car that doesn't need fixing when you are in front of the mechanic.
My problems never work until I post twice.
I started a new text with jokerman and it worked. Then I inserted the new text by writing it, it wouldn't just convvert it by highlighting it like the other fonts.
Thanks very much imeowbot. (My 9 year old daughter loves your name!!)
