Hey guys,

Just a quick question regarding bootcamp and windows installation. I have windows XP burned onto a disc with a few other programs so when I have to insert the windows disc will that work? Or would I have to burn it to a dvd by itself? Will windows install off a flash drive maybe?

Also,

When it asks for the MAC osx disc, can I just use the install discs that came with my new MBP?

Thanks,

If it is bootable and includes SP2 or SP3 you should be ok. I imstalled XP upgrade from a custom disc I made that included both ME for the upgrade verification and the boot camp 1.x drivers.

Vista and 7 can easily be installed from USB, xp not so much.
