Will a 4890 card be any faster in Aperture 3 than my current 4870?

With the recent Steam for Mac release, I have been thinking about getting a new video card again, however I am looking for reasons to get it. So I am just wondering will I see any speed improvements if I used a better video card on Aperture 3 (running 32bit because I use nik software)? I also use FCP, Photoshop quite often.

Nothing you would notice.

And any saved time would be used up looking for OS patches each time OSX gets updated.

Have patience, with any luck ATI will keep making their cards to work in ALL Mac Pros and avoid Apple's "Forced Obsolescence" plan.
