Why no Back-to-School Promotion for Malaysia??

as stated in the title... how come no free ipod touch for malaysians when other countries get it for a mac purchase?? does apple hate malaysia? no fair!

I think it is because of Malaysia having its term starting in January. Way different from those of the US, etc.

Apple is a US company, their policies and decisions mainly affect the US and then they apply it globally, perhaps sales are on the rise, there is no need to add an offer to increase sales.

Plus, no one is getting free iPods this year. We're getting credit to use on Apple's digital media stores (App Store, Mac App Store, iBooks, iTunes).

i'm at Japan and i did get a free ipod touch when i bought it on may.
