You don't want to do it, if you do it, and find one, it's all you'll ever be able to see and will drive you nuts, and the worst thing is you won't be able to do much about it (Apple won't take it back).

So, if you can't see one, don't go looking for it.
 
i tested my screen and i'm set to go! i ain't got a single dead pixel! 😀 (knocking on wood just in case)

I second or third the don't look statement.

I sent my PB out for the dreaded white spot issues and when I got it back there was a pixel stuck red. Sonce I have a mostly black desktop I noticed it immediately. When I sent it in it didn't have one and when I got it back I did. Soo angry!

Well, I have gotten used to it and barely notice it now but for the first few months it was ALL I could see on the screen.

If you don't see it, then don't worry about it.
