Image Capture

I have two accounts on my Mac (osx). One is for me and the other is for my kids.

I plug a camera into the computer under my kids' account, and image capture won't help IPHOTO import photos. I know there's some kind of permission problem, but I checked under the priveledges and Image Capture is checked (along with IPHOTO).

Any ideas??

I posted something earlier in regards to IPHOTO, but have narrowed down the problem to Image Capture.

have you tried running verify and repair permissions? I was under the impression that it would fix these sorts of issues. I could be wrong (kind of a newbie here)
