I think my iPod is done with. I recently dropped it on the way in from my car and since then when I connect it to the computer iTunes and the Finder beach ball when I trying to access anything with the iPod. I restored it from the computer, and manually reset it, both to no avail.
Am I right in thinking this is the end of my iPod? If so when I invest in a new one what should I do to keep it protected? (Besides not drop it)
