If we see a 64 gb iPhone, would that essentially assure a 128 gb next gen ipod touch? From what I know, the iPhone has 1 memory module whereas the touch as two (and thus twice as much memory).
Anything else it would tell us?

A 64 GB iPhone would definitely make a 128 MB touch more likely.
The new Touch will probably inherit some aesthetics from the new iPhone, though I expect it will keep the chrome back--it's been there since 1.0!

"128MB" is just a typo

I would LOVE to see a 128GB iPod Touch, but for some reason my gut says we won't just yet...of course I may be wrong :D

I would think a 128GB flash drive in a ipod touch would make it so expensive as to price it out of the market (or compete too closely with the ipad pricing). Laptop Solid State Drives at 160GB go for around $450 (just for the internal drive). So this would make the Ipod Touch with a 128 GB cost upwards of $500 (at least)? Keep in mind the $499 ipad only has a 16GB drive in it.
