I'm looking for an inexpensive, pressure-sensitive tablet. I don't want to sink too much into it b/c I'm not sure if I'm going to like it enough to replace my mouse in AI or PS. Another artist at my workplace uses it almost exclusively, and I'm getting tool/toy envy.

Any suggestions?

I bought a basic (small) Wacom Graphire 3 yesterday to try it out with PS etc, and because I'm in gadget buying mode.

Great toy.

It installed no trouble, seems to be pretty well built, and comes with a (no batteries, no wires) mouse.

It seems to take a little while to get accustomed to the pen (as mentioned in some other threads) but even with only a few hours use so far I suspect that I will prefer the pen for graphics. (I'm not sure about using the pen as a mouse replacement - I need to be mobile)
