Seems that with a JB you'll be able to use the reader as an external drive.


But other than that ............... ?

Or you could just put them on your computer and sync with something like wifi sync to bring them over without a $30 dongle. I wonder if the eyefi cards will work with the iPad to import photos

The kit makes it so easy to download pix to the iPad; especially when you're on the road and want to quickly post/email them.

yeah, why not right?

No rush for me so 3-4wks to ship, according to the Apple site, is no big deal.


May have to move up to the 32gb ipad though haha

Pro: transfers photos easily from a usb camera (incl iPhone videos) or SD card.
Pro: the USB adaptor also works with apples keyboard, although its not supported. Possibly with other unpowered devices ?

Con: Videos from SD card or HD video camera not supported.
