I just recently installed ethereal. It will work as long as I am logged in as root but if I am logged with my normal username, the interfaces (en0, en1, etc.) don't show up. Does anyone know how to allow ethereal to be used by a normal user?

You can run the program using sudo, but other than that, you need to have admin privileges for it to work correctly

Thanks, I just tried it using sudo before the command. This works. It was really a pain switching between users. Thanks again.
