I want to know if there is a place online where i can buy an ipod compatible lithium ion battery, that lasts longer than the one that comes with the 4g ipod?? i don't want one of the add on pack batteries, but one that i can put inside the ipod to replace the one currently in there. I don't know whether batteries like that exist in that size and apple didn't put them in cos it would have increased cost, or whether they just don't exist. if anyone knows let me know.

thanks

i've seen some for 1st-3rd gen somewhere. but i'm not sure if such a battery exists for 4th gen yet. i'm sure batteries with higher capacities exist - it's just a matter of it being fitted to be used in the iPod...

presumably, all 4th gen. iPods are still under warranty and i'm not sure if there's that many who'd venture to open up their iPod so quickly after their introduction...
