Backlit Keyboard in Upgraded 12" PowerBook?

Any chance of a backlit keyboard as an option (or standard) in the next 12" PowerBook?

Probably not.

The back lighted feature is a ploy to get you to buy the 15 and 17" PB because Apple makes more money off them compared to the 12".

Also it's an issue of space, the 12" PB is pretty small, so there isn't a lot of room for fiber optic lights.

i think apple is going to have to add the backlit keyboard to the 12" pb, it will help set it apart from the ibooks just a little bit more, the fiber optics dont take up that much space, its fitting in the light sensor thats tricky, but i think it should be done

its up in the air as to whether or not they will or will not add it though
