It looks like he is not going to make a profit. Selling for half, its surprising no one has gone for it.

US$14,000 ?!

You'll have to quite a bit of loose change rattling around to even consider speculating on that as an investment...

Well, I would probaly go about $8,000 at the most... It would take a few weeks for more...

But it really is truly worth it... I know he paid what he said, I saw the auction, on the internet.... Its cool... A MUST HAVE for ME :p :)

it not an investment.. its just the coolness of history factor. if i was well off and could throw out 14000 for a display toy i would totally go for it!

Oh no it ended with "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale." at the top... I hope the salt does not destroy it  ... And I was considering an offer for 8k  .... I'll keep my eyes open for a relsting...

if i had 14,000 bucks i'd get a pair of 30" displays with a 2.5GHz g5 with 4GB of ram.

not an apple 1 mobo.

I would do the same hector. I totally agree a nice 2.5 with a pair of 30s would be awfully sweet
