disable voice control

just got the 3GS today...hate the voice control.

checked out mroogle and google...couldnt really find a legit way to get rid of it...is there an app in cydia that can kill it? thx
 
Doubt it.
It bothers your that much?
You tend to hold home for 5 seconds or more and keep turning it on?
 
I was gonna say, don't hold down the home button. DUH !

I have a 3GS and don't use voice control. I just never hold down the home button long enough for it to start up.
