My mac mini wont turn on. Absolutely nothing happens when I press the power button, its like a brick. What could be the possible reasons? I tried resetting the SMC switch but that didnt help. I also tried using another power chord and that didnt help either. Every thing was working fine till a couple of days back when I installed some software updates overnight and it was dead the next morning

1) Is there anything else that I can try?

2) My Mac is out of warranty, will apple store charge diagnostic fee if I take it to them for diagnostics.

Thanks for any help.
