The Power Computing Power Tower Pro 225 (http://www.everymac.com/systems/powercc/powertower_pro/powertower_pro225.html) I have laying around is in need of some more memory. When I opened the case on an unrelated project, I noticed that there are 8 slots for the memory with a total of 4 sticks of RAM in there, but they are in pairs. According to MacTracker, I need 168 pin FPM DIMM memory, but I really don't know about these older things. Are there certain websites I should look at, certain computers that I can salvage the RAM from, or what?

Here are a 2 different places to buy RAM for your Mac Clone...all very good places.

These are direct links to the memory for your Mac Clone:

http://www.4allmemory.com/search/power_computing/powertower.cfm?q=Power+Computing+PowerTower+Pro+225

http://www.18004memory.com/result.asp? (this link may not work...but just take off the result.asp? part and do a search for PowerComputing Pro Tower 225 and it will show up)

Crucial doesn't seem to have RAM for it....

OtherWorld Computing (http://eshop.macsales.com/) carries its own brand plus TechWorks. I've dealt with them for several years and have been pleased with their products and service.

And just like the current G5s, the system does RAM interleaving, so like you said, having it in pairs makes it faster.
